Below you will find useful information about using online booking and purchasing tickets. You can read about how we process the information you enter, how you receive your receipt in connection with a purchase and much more.
Please note that your booking and purchase of tickets is not covered by the Consumer Contracts Act’s rules on the right of withdrawal. Sales of accommodation (holiday homes, camping units, etc.) are covered by a 14-day right of withdrawal. The reason for this is that re-renting a booked holiday home/camping unit that is canceled a few days before arrival will often not be possible.
Payment options
All prices stated in CityCamp Assens Strand’s online booking system are, like everywhere else on the website, stated in Danish kroner including VAT and all taxes unless otherwise stated and clearly stated in the situation in question.
Payment is made by using one of the approved debit/credit cards in online booking, including Dankort, Visa, Mastercard and Diners. There is no fee for transactions made through online booking.
Information about online shopping
You can shop online with confidence through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are generally protected in relation to any misuse of your credit card online, so there is no deductible for misuse of your payment card via the Internet. Shipping and delivery
When booking and paying for a holiday home, a pitch for your own tent or a pitch for your own caravan/camper, you will be presented with a reservation certificate from CityCamp Assens Strand, which shows the accounts for your purchase. The reservation certificate can be printed out from the website after the booking has been completed and will also be sent by e-mail immediately after the purchase, if the correct e-mail address has been provided by the buyer.
Delivery of the ordered product takes place upon arrival at CityCamp Assens Strand on the day of arrival (and is completed upon departure on the day of departure). Both of these times are stated in the above-mentioned reservation certificate.
Right of withdrawal and refund
You have the option to cancel your booking(s) under the following conditions:
If you cancel within 14 days of booking, the entire amount will be refunded minus an administration fee of DKK 500 per booking number.
Otherwise, the following applies:
If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund with the exception of an administration fee of Dkk. 500,-. per booking no.
If you cancel less than 30 days and more than 14 days before arrival, you can get half of the total amount refunded, less an administration fee of DKK 500 per booking number.
If you cancel less than 14 days before arrival, you will lose the entire amount paid.
If you have chosen cancellation protection, it is non-refundable.
In the event of Force Majeure, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, no refunds or compensation can be claimed.
If you are a seasonal resident, please refer to your contract terms and conditions.
Cancellation protection – safety in case of illness
We recommend that you take out cancellation protection. It costs DKK 299 per booking number and covers cancellation (in case of illness). Cancellation protection is not refundable in case of cancellation.
If canceled up to 1 day before the arrival date (before 12:00), a refund will be made upon submission of documentation in the form of a medical certificate. Does not apply to pets.
Discount codes and promotions
Discount codes and promotions can only be used once per household. Cannot be combined with other discounts and offers unless otherwise noted. Cannot be used on vacations that are already booked. The discount code is entered when booking online.
Registration of information
CityCamp Assens Strand registers your name, address, e-mail address and other information provided in connection with the purchase in its customer database. The information is not disclosed, but CityCamp Assens Strand keeps the registration for 5 years.
CityCamp Assens Strand uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to ensure the security of the information you provide on the site.
When paying by credit card, registration is done via a secure server where the information is encrypted before being sent over the internet.
Complaint handling
If for some reason you do not receive your reservation certificate confirming your purchase and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the address or phone number below.
Complaints about the booking process, the booking itself or the product (stay) must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered the error by ordinary review of your contract. You can complain in writing or verbally. One year after receipt of the goods (the stay), the right to complain pursuant to section 83(1) of the Danish Sale of Goods Act shall cease, unless otherwise agreed.
When CityCamp Assens Strand receives your complaint about a product, the complaint will be processed as soon as possible. CityCamp Assens Strand will decide whether the received item should be refunded, exchanged or whether a price reduction should be given.
