VANDVID is a future national knowledge and experience center in Assens, where the sea, the aquatic environment and angling are communicated in a sensory, modern and interactive way.
Here you won’t just be presented with facts about life below the surface of the sea. You will be invited into a world of light, sound, digital simulations, hands-on activities and experiences that will make both children and adults more knowledgeable about Denmark’s water landscapes.
The goal of VANDVID is to give visitors a new understanding of all that lies beneath the surface – from the geodiversity of the ocean and the importance of waterways to the joys of angling and the vulnerability of nature.
A new experience close to CityCamp Assens Strand
CityCamp Assens Strand is located in scenic surroundings by the Little Belt and close to the city of Assens. Therefore, VANDVID fits perfectly into the experiences our guests can have during a stay with us.
After a quiet morning at the campsite, you can head towards Assens Harbor, where VANDVID becomes part of the vibrant harbor environment.
