In the winter season 2023/2024, it will again be possible to visit CityCamp Assens Strand both in a cabin and with your own caravan/camper.
Winter camping is cozy
Experience the cozy atmosphere of winter camping when the snow falls and nature can be enjoyed in a completely different way. Hot chocolate, blankets and time to cozy up – that’s how many people describe winter camping.
For example, you could host a cozy Christmas party with friends and family? Take a trip to Assens city center, which is within walking distance from the square, and do your Christmas shopping? Or simply enjoy the silence and the beautiful weather – winter camping is something special!
Practical info during the winter period
Check-in is available from 8:00 am – 10:00 pm 7 days a week at the self-service kiosk located next to the reception entrance – however, cabins must be pre-booked and paid for online. The key to the cabin will then be found in the key box outside the building. Reception and kiosk are closed during the winter months, but we are available by email and phone.
Year-round facilities
We offer facilities to make your winter camping experience enjoyable. Family rooms (free hot water showers and toilets), a large fully equipped kitchen and the option to plug in your caravan are just some of the facilities you can expect.

During the winter season, the site is unmanned. We therefore encourage you to walk out onto the site before you set up to assess whether the grass is suitable or whether you need a different site.
